How To Can I Get Beautiful Smooth Skin Forever ?

Do you dread the prickly chore of shaving your legs and wish you could have silky smooth skin all year round without all the hassle?

A recent survey showed that women spend a staggering 72 days in their lifetime shaving their legs, armpits and bikini line – their most hated beauty chore.

But you don’t need to be a slave to the shave any longer – recent advances in laser technology mean that you can permanently remove all unwanted body hair and make shaving a thing of the past.

Laser Hair Removal Permanently Gets Rid Of Unwanted Hair
Laser Hair Removal Permanently Gets Rid Of Unwanted Hair

Premier Laser and Skin Clinic have the very latest lasers which destroy the hair follicles at the root, thus stunting any future hair growth. The treatment is effective on most hair types and all body parts – and is becoming increasingly popular with men as well as women.

Men can have unwanted hair on their back, arms, shoulders and chest completely removed permanently and women can also have facial hair removed painlessly, as well as hairs on legs, armpits and bikini area.

Here are 4 benefits you’ll see when you choose laser hair removal:

  1. Fast and effective.  Treatment times can be as little as 15 minutes for armpits and even a full body treatment can be done in an hour – and you will see a difference from the very first session, and after as few as three sessions you can have complete clearance. (see previous client below)
  2. Cost savings. Millions are spent each year in hair removal. Think about all the razors, shaving kits, depilatory creams, and waxing session you’ve paid for. The costs of laser hair removal procedures are minimal compared to what you would spend over the course of a lifetime in topping up your hair removal tools.
  3. Convenience. Imagine the feeling of not ever having to shave again, and all that time saved. Pretty great, huh? When you use laser hair removal to rid yourself of body hair, you’re basically ensuring a lifetime of no more shaving or waxing. The convenience of this cannot be overstated. If your friends have planned an impromptu trip to the beach? You’re hair-free and ready to go! Got a hot date lined up? No need to worry about unsightly body hair!
  4. It’s pain free. The laser treatment feels like lightly snapping a rubber band against your skin and there’s no downtime involved. It’s nowhere near as painful as other forms of hair removal, such as electrolysis or waxing, and it’s much more effective in the long run.

Laser hair removal starts from as little as £35 for facial and £145 for body sessions.

Clinical Trial Shows Skinbreeze Facial Gives Four Times Better Skin Texture

Skinbreeze facials came top in a recent clinical trial of luxury beauty treatments and was seen to improve skin texture by nearly four times in just one treatment. The beauty trial analysed a number of luxury beauty products and a budget skin-cream on women in their 30s and 40s and Skinbreeze came out on top for improvements to spots, wrinkles, texture, pores and pigmentation with a phenomenal 165% increase across all of the criteria.

Testing was performed by the lastest VISIA skin analysis machine which gives a percentage score for skin health – the higher the score the better the skin quality. Click the picture above to see the scores for Spots, Wrinkles, Texture and Pores (left to right top row) and UV Spots, Brown Spots, Red Areas, and Porphyrins (bacteria that cause spots), left to right on bottom row.

The tests were calibrated to the age of the women, and were performed at the beginning of the trial and after a month to see what improvements there had been.

Laura, a 41-year-old stylist from London, who runs the LikeYourStyleToday blog was the test subject for the Skinbreeze and she saw massive improvements to her skin. There were huge improvements to the texture of her skin and reduction in pigmentation, and there were significant gains in reduction of pores, spots and wrinkles.

Laura had just one 60-minute Skinbreeze facial treatment – the treatment includes micro-dermabrasion and LED light therapy, an oxygen infusion of anti-ageing serums, followed by a hydrating hyaluronic acid mask and lymph drainage massage.

Laura said: “I could see a big difference in the smoothness of my skin and the size of the my pores were really reduced. There was much more of a radiance to my complexion, whereas it had been a bit dull and lifeless before and I had suffered from sun damage in the past and the serums used in the treatment really helped repair that. There was a reduction of blocked pores and black-heads also. Wrinkles were also reduced but if you have this treatment you must wear a high SPF for the next week or so because you have effectively taken off the top layer of skin you must protect the more delicate skin underneath afterwards. I was told about this post treatment but I wasn’t aware of how important this was.”

In relation to the budget skincare product Skinbreeze was seen to be over seven times better for skin texture and four times better for reduction pigmentation problems.

Our New Hero Facial – Spectra Laser Peel aka Hollywood Peel

Latest treatment from USA – reduces break-outs and can be used on active acne.  Amazing Results and No Downtime.

The Specta Laser Peel is a brand new treatment in the UK which is effective in reducing, lines, wrinkles, as well as being one of the most effective new treatments for blemishes like acne and blackheads. Our therapists are putting all of their regular clients onto this new miracle facial and the results are astounding.

The treatment has been dubbed the “Hollywood Peel” because there are several A-list fans of the treatment – including Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian – and it’s become one of the most popular facial treatments in Los Angeles. The reason for the unprecedented popularity of the Hollywood Peel is because it has immediate positive effects without any down-time, or discomfort.

The treatment takes around 45 minutes and so can even be done in a lunch-hour and clients can go back to work immediately afterwards.

In the USA they are recommending that four Hollywood Peel treatments should be enough to get clearance of even the most stubborn acne and we are certainly seeing those kind of results in the UK as well.

First you attach the eye protectors and then a carbon mask is applied to the with a cotton wool pad. It’s just a carbon powder and water and this is what the laser is attracted to.

The carbon bonds with the sebaceous glands which create oily matter (sebum) which in turn causes spots. When the carbon is heated by the laser the sebaceous glands get destroyed.

The first part of the treatment is the Spectra laser mode which heats up the carbon mask and the skin, which tightens the pores, fine lines and reduces any acne. It’s almost pain free and many women liken the sensation to be lightly pinged by an elastic band.

The second pass is done with the Q switch laser which snaps off the carbon, exfoliates the skin, dries out any blemishes, tightens the pores and is great for resurfacing as well. This laser makes a louder sound and snaps the carbon off the skin completely and takes off between 15 to 30 microns of the skin with it. You can see the smoke come off the skin when it happens but this is merely the carbon evaporating, not the skin. The final pass with the laser encourages collagen and elastin growth in the deeper dermal layers which creates more youthful looking tighter skin.

There’s no bleeding or downtime from this treatment but it leaves the skin with a healthy radiance and glow to it.

Many Hollywood stars are having this a few hours before they do red carpet appearances, hence the name of the treatment. For the first four treatments it’s a good idea to have one every other week and then after that to go to a monthly treatment. This will eliminate acne and then keep it under control so that it doesn’t come back.

Treats – active acne, acne scars, large pores, Melasma and pigmentation, age spots, freckles. Spectra Laser single session is £200 for face, and £250 for face and neck.

Summer Skincare: Top tips for in flight skin care

Summer is here and it is holiday time at last. As much as some well-earned R&R can do wonders for your energy levels, travelling long distances and being out in the sun can also be tough on your skin.

Long flights can be particularly damaging to the skin, as you’ll be spending hours in a high pressured, air conditioned environment. The air in the cabin can cause drying of the skin, leaving it flaky and dehydrated when you arrive. Added to this, jetlag and the stresses of travelling can cause disruption of your cortisol levels, leaving your skin blotchy, spotty and generally unpleasant. Top 10 Tattoo Regrets Revealed By Premier Laser

Over the years we have kept a record of the many tattoos we have successfully removed. Here is the list, in no particular order!.

  1. Exes name
  2. dolphin
  3. quotes and spelling mistakes
  4. barbed wire
  5. stars
  6. butterfly
  7. Chinese symbols
  8. Celtic designs
  9. signs of the zodiac
  10. fairy

Can you identify with the list? Are you or someone you know guilty of any in the top ten?

Removal or covering your tattoo

Body art has become much more popular in recent years, with celebrities like David Beckham actively showing off their ink and looking fantastic for it. However, for every appreciated and much loved tattoo, there are many that are deeply regretted.

Perhaps they are symbols of emotional scars we want to forget, perhaps they were done on impulse and don’t represent who we are right now – maybe they simply don’t look good or don’t even mean what they were supposed to. With today’s advanced laser you can now have your tattoo removed or faded so you can have it covered.

Advanced laser technology

Previously tattoos could be considered a permanent piece of body art, with no real successful tattoo removal treatments being present on the cosmetic market.

Studies show that more than half of people with three or more tattoos regret at least one of their designs. Yet only one in 20 tattoo fans have had their designs either erased or changed, despite technology making removals far easier.

With innovative technology advances, laser tattoo removal has revolutionised the industry, enabling anyone and everyone with a tattoo they want removed painlessly, effectively and quickly.

laser tattoo removalTop 10 tattoo regrets

10. Fairy

90’s sensation Britney Spears has a fairy tattoo, as does The World Is Not Enough star Denise Richards. According to this study, it turns out for some, fairies aren’t always so magical.

9. Signs Of The Zodiac

R&B star Rihanna and heroes star Hayden Panettiere both have signs of the zodiac tattoos. Did the horoscopes predict regret for the owners of these mystical tattoos?

8. Celtic Designs

Canadian actor Jay Baruchel has a large Celtic cross design on his arm, as does singer, songwriter and actor Justin Timberlake and gorgeous Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. It looks like the luck of the Irish doesn’t prevent lots of people regretting their own Celtic tattoo designs.

7. Chinese Symbols

David Beckham has them, Megan Fox has them, Justin Bieber has them and Britney Spears has them. They can often be mistaken for something else and are notorious for meaning something different to what the owner thought they meant, for example; Britneys Chinese symbol on her hip was meant to say ‘mysterious’ but it actually means ‘strange’. They were a huge tattoo fad in the 90’s, but the fad is most definitely over for many owners of Chinese symbol tattoo designs with them being the seventh most regrettable tattoo designs in this study.

6. Butterfly

Mariah Carey has one, Vanessa Hudgens has one as does Paris Hilton and Kelly Osbourne, but these pretty insects don’t stay pretty for long according to our study, with them being the sixth most regrettable tattoo design in the study.

5. Stars

Stars became fashionable after super star Rihanna had stars tattooed on her back and behind her ear. Jessica Alba, Avril Lavigne and Sienna Miller also all have star tattoos. But at 5th most regrettable in the study, many owners of star tattoos are wishing upon them to go away.

4. Barbed Wire

Pamela Anderson was most definitely the creator of this 1990’s tattoo fad, with Cheryl Fernandez Versini paying homage to the design incorporating it with a rose on her thigh. Sadly, as the 4th most regrettable design in the study, it most definitely didn’t keep plenty of barbed wire tattoo owner’s feeling like Baywatch Babes for long.

3. A Quote Misspelled From A Different Language

Unfortunately, this tattoo issue is extremely common, and usually only gets discovered after the tattoo has been completed. The most famous case of this happening is with David Beckham who had a Sanskrit tribute to his wife Victoria on his arm, only to find Victoria had been spelt ‘Vihctoria’ – proof this kind of tattoo regret can happen to absolutely anyone.

2. Dolphin

Another 90’s fad, dolphins adorned the shoulders, feet, hips and various other places on peoples skin in the 90’s, but more than a decade later, plenty of dolphin tattoo owners want their marine life art, well and truly released back into the wild.

1. Ex Partner’s Name

The biggest tattoo taboo is having your ex partner’s name inked somewhere on your body. Although tattoos will last forever (without treatment), relationships definitely aren’t always as reliably permanent. Celebrities who have had their exes name tattooed include :

  • Angelina Jolie
  • Heidi Klum,
  • Marc Anthony
  • Johnny Depp
  • Christina Aguilera
  • Kathy Griffin
  • Rob Kardashian
  • Charlie Sheen
  • Denise Richards
  • Eva Longoria
  • Melanie Griffith

All had ‘ex tattoos’ and opted to have them removed or covered up after they split up.

We have seen a 25% rise in removals over the last two years as more and more people opt to get body art.

A Premier Laser Clinic spokesperson said:

“When your personal life is a volatile as Katie Price’s it is perhaps not the wisest move to have your husband’s name tattooed on your arm. We have had celebrities in our London clinics quietly erasing tattoos of former lovers made in haste. Without a doubt, the most common tattoo that we remove at Premier Laser Clinic is an ex-partner’s name – we would advise people to think long and carefully before inking their lover’s name onto their skin!.

If you do make a mistake and regret having your tattoo whether it’s and exes name or a baby unicorn!, it has never been easier to remove an unwanted tattoo and we can leave the skin looking almost brand new.The procedure is quick and pain-free.”

Which Acne Scar Treatment Is Best For You?

Both the physical and emotional effects of acne can continue long after the actual acne has cleared up. They can leave permanent marks of the past behind which can be stressful and emotionally crippling for some.

What Causes Acne Scarring?

When your skin, or soft tissues are damaged, the body’s immune system will actively repair the site. Your immune system will send lots of white blood cells and various other fast acting molecules to try to combat any infection and heal any damage to the soft tissue. Once the infection is actively fought, or kept away and the injury is repaired, the skin may look different through the body’s repair system, resulting in a scar.
